Early Childhood

Early Childhood (Pre-K 3 & Pre-K 4)

At Holy Spirit School, our Early Childhood program provides a nurturing, faith-filled environment where young learners are encouraged to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We believe every child is a unique gift from God and strive to foster curiosity, confidence, kindness, and a love of learning.

Pre-K 3

Our Pre-K 3 program introduces children to a structured school experience through purposeful play, hands-on exploration, and engaging learning activities. Students build foundational skills in letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and early literacy and math concepts while developing independence, social skills, and classroom routines.

Children participate in weekly classes including Physical Education, Music, Spanish, STEM, and Library, enjoy music and movement activities, and take part in age-appropriate faith experiences and community service projects.

Pre-K 4

Our Pre-K 4 program prepares students for a successful transition to Kindergarten through a balance of teacher-guided instruction, hands-on learning, and purposeful play. Using evidence-based early literacy practices, including Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, students strengthen foundational reading, writing, language, and math skills while continuing to grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Students also enjoy weekly classes in Physical Education, Music, Spanish, Art, STEM, and Library & Technology.
